This processor is more attractive now that it the Radeon 780m iGPU FINALLY has proper ROCM support in linux. I wanted to buy a mini pc last year with this chip but it was useless to me due to the lack of ROCM support, which was added around September of this year.

From the mini-PC market, the M2 Air is getting destroyed by the Ryzen 7 8845HS. The gaming selection is very limited, the RAM & SSD aren't adjustable, it costs far more to get the same RAM & SSD specs built on the initial purchase, the iGPU has less TFLOP power, and the CPU multi-core performance is far behind. The only saving aspects of the regular M2 chip are the better battery life on a laptop, better for photo editing, and a more stable OS.
