I bought the i3 1215U at the end of 2023 8ram 512gb, at $300, and according to me it is superior to that ryzen 3 7320U by a long shot and in GPU, the 1215U, yields 2.1 times more TFLOPS and cpu is more 1215U.

Even with the new big little tech, Intel's current line-up is a disaster. That is the real reason Intel is switching to ARM so it can bully Qualcomm and other TSMC-based chipmakers. THE COMPETITION IS GETTING HARD TO BEAT. X86 CHIPS ARE GETTING WAY TOO POWERFUL AND WHY FIGHT IT.

I choose Intel for Linux. My Ryzen 5 is nice, but Intel has a bit more experience and knows a bit more (pun). As far as cooling, chipsets will throttle back before they get too hot... but that's something that better heatsinks and cooling systems are for, anyway ;) Now, if you're overclocking, AMDs are better for that.

Intel core i7 is better because of the better single core performance and the higher clock speed and add to that it lets you use the whole 8gb of ram unlike ryzen crapware.

YouDontHaveAClue, Right bro, my i5 8250U heat like a pan, hardly goes above 3.1 Ghz as said by company 3.6. R5 5500U goes 4.1Ghz still don't heat.

AMD is Boss, We need to clean the CPU at least every 3year and replace the thermal paste. Ur CPU will work smoothly and cool.
