The manufacturing process is still 10nm compared to many mobile chips which are going as low as 3 nm But yeah I can confirm two things here 1) I owe an m1 powered iPad, which becomes pig after 30 mins of gaming (intense) same goes for my friend 888 when we co-op he gets a lot of lag after some time (Due to no dedicated cooling mechanism on these devices I guess) 2) I have rusty i7700hq paired with GTX 1050/8Rgb,(I keep it plugged in for turbo mode) still can run many AAA titles at low to mid for hours without losing fps (there is just a slight loss- 2-4 fps at peak temps) this can be solved by cleaning the Cooling vents, applying new thermal paste and overalls in the service center. So $1200 for 30mins? Or $1200 for long-term gaming? I regret buying the iPad should have gone for a normal iPad and saved a few more for a new laptop. I'm writing this from a gaming perspective, so take your own opinions and needs into account when making a purchase.
