I'm looking at a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12. One version has the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U for $1,440 and the same laptop configuration but with the Core Ultra 5 135U is $1,535. A difference of $95 higher for essentially a 2% higher turbo boost frequency. As a resident of Tennessee, our sales tax is ~10%....except the "tax free" weekend for computers UNDER $1,500. Therefore, my overall total costs would be $285 less by selecting the 125U vs. the 135U version. Thank you www.devicefacts.org for enabling me to make a better informed decision!!!!
