I don't know why, the ultra9 is always better than the M3 in all reviews, but when I'm doing Android app development, the M3 compiles faster, why is that? A MacBook air with M3 always compiles faster than a ThinkPad T14p with ulta9 under the same conditions. Can anyone give me the answer, thank you!

Windows Security or other anti-virus on Windows is actually a major factor. If you use the new Windows Dev Drive feature which bypasses all antiviruses for development, is can actually reduce build time by ~30%. macOS doesn't come with anti-virus by default. Besides that Windows APIs anf NTFS in general wasn't optimized for creating/deleting thousands of small files comparing to APFS/btrfs. https://github.com/Microsoft/WSL/issues/873#issuecomment-425272829
