I purchased the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 4G because, in my country, flagship phones are significantly more expensive than their original price. Initially, I had considered buying the Infinix Note 30 5G, but it was not only equipped with an IPS LCD screen but also more costly than anticipated. Then, I vetted the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G. Though its price was similar to the Note 30 5G, the 4G version was considerably cheaper and therefore, more affordable. In my experience, the G99 processor has proven itself to be highly reliable for gaming. For example, when playing Assoluto Racing on max graphics, I consistently achieved over 60fps. Similarly, on Call of Duty Mobile (CoDM) at medium graphics, the frame rate exceeds 80fps. However, while testing PUBG, I discovered discrepancies. The low graphics (smooth) setting exceeded my expectations by reaching over 90fps. On the ultra setting, although I consistently achieved around 58fps, it had been touted to be only 38fps. Despite these inconsistencies, I still enjoy playing PUBG and consistently achieve solid frame rates. One of my hopes is that future updates will further enhance the performance of the G99 processor in this Tecno Camon phone.
